I am passionate about music, the art of piano playing and teaching. Nothing is more important for me as a teacher than to help each student to discover their personal best and express themselves in music. The student’s individuality is in the center of my teaching; through teaching piano, I carefully nurture students’ talents and abilities. I have been fortunate to study with remarkable pianists and musicians who passed me a legacy of the Russian piano school and, in the same time, they cared for my individuality and enable me to fulfill my potential. I hope to continue this tradition.

My pedagogical approach is based on 30 years of piano performing and teaching experiences. I am constantly in search for the best pedagogical methods, new or old. However, it is not about what books or methods I use but rather about sustaining my students' love of music, igniting their imagination and creativity.

Learning piano is hard but tremendously rewarding. With joy and excitement, I meet every child or adult who wants to learn to play piano. For me, their interest in music is precious, and I am happy to open the door to the magic world of piano and share the passion and joy of music.

My daughter (almost 9) has been taken piano since she was 4 1/2 years old. She has an amazing teacher Svitlana , who is very serious, with a no nonsense approach. Yet making it an enjoyable and pleasurable experience for her. My daughter is learned so much, so quickly and she really enjoys it. I can’t imagine her going to any place else.
